Grès Paris was founded Madame Grès in 1934. An aspiring sculptor, Madame Grès aimed to created couture gowns with this aesthetic in mind. After much success in her design house, Madame Grès expanded to fragrances launching her first one in 1958 after a trip to India. An older fragrance house, she has since launched over 58 more still producing today.
