Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani was launched in 1995 for women. The nose behind this frgrance is Edouard Fléchier. Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion designer most notably known for his menswear in the late 1970's. Having worked on many film collaborations providing menswear for the main actors, Armani branched into fashion for women and eventually fragrances. Owned by L'Oreal, Armani has launched over 180 fragrances since 1981 and continues to produce into the 21st century.
